Belonen maakt het verschil
Een hond leert het snelst wanneer de beloning écht de moeite waard is. Thuis zijn gewone brokjes vaak prima, maar buiten is de wereld een stuk interessanter. Geuren, mensen, andere honden, auto's en vogels concurreren allemaal om de aandacht van je hond. Dan heb je vaak een beloning nodig die nét wat waardevoller is.
Ik werk daarom graag met de gestoomde trainingsworsten van BonDog Bonaire. Ze zijn zacht, makkelijk in piepkleine stukjes te snijden, goed verteerbaar en de meeste honden vinden ze onweerstaanbaar. Hoe kleiner de stukjes, hoe beter: je kunt veel belonen zonder dat je hond snel vol zit.
Een handige tip: snijd een hele worst in kleine blokjes, verdeel deze over meerdere zakjes en vries ze in. Haal voor iedere training één zakje uit de vriezer. Zo heb je altijd verse beloningen klaar liggen.
En wist je dat deze trainingsworsten eigenlijk een complete hondenvoeding zijn, maar dan in de vorm van een worst? Je geeft dus niet zomaar een snack, maar een volwaardige, gezonde beloning waar je hond graag voor werkt.

Rewards make all the difference
Dogs learn fastest when the reward is truly worth working for. At home, regular kibble is often perfectly fine, but outside the world is much more exciting. Smells, people, other dogs, cars and birds are all competing for your dog's attention. That's when you often need a reward that is just a little more valuable.
