Privacy statement De Tafelheer Bonaire
We handle your data with care and comply with the Personal Data Protection Act BES (Wet bescherming persoonsgegevens BES), the privacy law that applies on Bonaire. Below you can read which data we use, what for, who we share it with and what your rights are.
Who we are

Which data we use
- Contact details: name, company name, phone number, email address and delivery address.
- Order details: what you order, quotations, invoices and payments.
- Messages: what you send us via the contact form, email or WhatsApp.
- Account: if you create an account in the webshop, your login details and your order list.
- Website use: anonymous or pseudonymized data about visits to the site (see the cookie statement).
What we use it for
- to answer your question and send you a quote
- to deliver and invoice your order
- to arrange orders via the Netherlands with De Tafelheer in the Netherlands and with the carrier or your forwarder
- to keep our records, as required by law
- to improve the website
We do not send newsletters or promotional emails.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We only share what is necessary with:
- De Tafelheer BV in the Netherlands, for orders via the Netherlands
- carriers and forwarders, for transport and delivery
- Sentoo and your bank (MCB or Orco Bank), when you pay in the webshop. We do not see your bank details.
- Odoo, the system that runs our webshop and administration
- Google Analytics, for visitor statistics, only if you accept cookies
- our accountant, and authorities where the law requires it
How long we keep data
No longer than necessary. We keep administrative data for as long as tax law requires. Messages via the contact form without follow-up are kept for a maximum of 2 years.
Security
We protect your data with appropriate measures. The website uses a secure connection (https) and only those who need it for their work have access.
Your rights
You can always ask which data we hold about you. You can have it corrected or deleted, except for what we are legally required to keep. To do so, email bonaire@detafelheer.com. We will respond within four weeks.
If we cannot resolve it together, you can file a complaint with the Data Protection Supervisory Commission BES (CBP BES), www.cbpbes.com.

We may update this statement. The latest version is always on this page.
